“Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” - John Wooden
As you know, Friday is the day I make sure I post something inspirational or at least show the lighter side of life. Not sure this is really “inspirational,” but it sure as heck was fun!
Allowing myself a bit of self indulgence (it is my blog after all) this weeks video is me flying a WWII T-3 “Texan.”
The flight was a previous birthday gift from my wife and I was able to perform all the stunts myself (Barrel Rolls, Loops, etc) except the take off and landing of course. Footage courtesy of Warbirds.

Friday at The Slow Bleed is the day we add a post that is inspirational in nature (the last post of the day) -- just to kick off your weekend with a positive note (no pun intended given this weeks choice).
This week, a classic but still one of my favorites. Paul Potts from Britain’s Got Talent.

Every once in awhile some people show not only the true meaning of sports, but also the true meaning of character. There is not a lot I can add to this inspirational video other than watch it and be proud of the individuals involved -- I know that I am.

Fine, I suppose this is where you look for some witty insights to my mind. A "bio" of sorts. Here is the deal... I ride motorcycles, smoke cigars, golf, kayak, fly, race my car through the mountains, write (a lot), and travel extensively. I am almost old enough not to care what other people think about me...almost. ~Godfadr
