As traditional every Friday at The Slow Bleed I try and take something submitted by a reader and post it for Friday. The suggestions are usually inspirational, such as the Sara Tucholsky story or something a bit different such as my stunt flying in a WWII T-3 Texan. This weeks clip is actually from a movie.
The movie was Any Given Sunday. The speech was given by Al Pacino to his team that was losing at halftime.
I had seen the movie before and thought it was a very good motivational speech. What struck me as interesting was how this may be, given the current state of affairs, an appropriate motivational speech for the United States.
