It may be the most high profile rehab ever witnessed. In the dark corners of the Whitehouse, not long after the inauguration, Obama will have to quit using his Blackberry.
Although it has not been commonplace for long, Presidents are urged to lose any personal or private Internet accounts for fear of it being using against them at some point. Obama has said, “I’m still clinging to my Blackberry…they are going to have to pry it out of my hands.”
Of course the unofficial endorsement is huge for Blackberry – some say it is worth as much as $50M. Although I suspect they will now need to come up with a more politically correct name for it.
I am sure Obama keeps the same kind of junk on his cell phone as we do on ours; it is just more fun to think that it has other stuff on there as well. Some items I suspect he could have…
Launch Codes – For those “on the road” emergencies.
Secret Service – Home emails and phone numbers (on speed dial of course).
Minesweeper – Real Mines, Real Time.
Emails – He may be the only one that gets a real email from Nigeria.
WWLD Chat Room – The AOL “What Would Lincoln Do” chat room.
GPS – To see where Hillary, Biden, and George are at all times.
Facebook – So he can upload mobile photos of the inner workings of the Oval office.
Yea, Obama is going to have to give up a lot. Sure it is just a Blackberry, but it is all the perks, emails, and applications that come with it. In the end I think he will lose it in short order…I mean, it is not like it is an iPhone.

Personally, they should let him keep it, OR get off his back about smoking. Crackberries are as addictive, if not more so, than cigarettes. Demanding he stop both is cruel and unusual punishment.

Ahhhh but GF, the nannies out there would rather he use his wife/kids/about-to-dog (oh no, not the dog, I take that back) as punching bags for his outlet……….it’s safer than smoking or using a crackberry……….for him at least………..
With the state of the country/world today, you’d think there’d be more important issues to worry about than his smoking, email use. *rolling eyes*
