The trend for visiting doctors online has increased at an alarming rate. Patients love it because they don’t have to leave their homes. Doctors love it because they stopped wanting to see us years ago.
You not only can “see” a doctor online, but they are also writing prescription online.
Just a couple things you will need to be ready for as this technology launches us into the “I will never have to see anyone again” future.
- Convert your computer’s Web cam to an MRI cam.
- Sign up for ePills and bid on your favorites.
- Purchase a home spleen/liver removal kit.
- Prepare for group therapy in online chat rooms
- Be prepared for a “virtual” waiting room and wait times exceeding the time it would have taken you to get there in person.

This final step should allow us to take away any humanity the medical field possessed coming into this century.

As always, very entertaining. I have to admit I’m guilty of surfing Web Md for answers. I think it comes from a lack of trust that I have for Doctor’s. Being married to a man in the medical field, as I am, gives you a lot of insight into the medical profession. It’s amazing how many doctors don’t know what they’re doing! Also, it’s no different than when I buy a car, I do as much research as I can before I ever go into the dealership. There’s nothing wrong with educating yourself. I personally have been waiting a very long time for that do-it-yourself dentistry kit. When ARE they going to come out with that! LOL
