Apparently Vice President Dick Cheney just had to fill up his own car on vacation or something. Either that, or his abacus finally came back with the brilliant deduction that the proposed summer suspension on gasoline tax would offer “very little help to consumers.”
Estimates show the proposed tax would only save the average consumer as much as $30 this summer – not exactly a long-term fix.
I wonder if he knows that he just agreed with Obama?
