I LOVE JOHN WAYNE!!! I have way too many movies of his for a kid my age. The last vestiges of a REAL man’s man, at least on screen, and from what I understand, he understood things as they should be in real life. He was born just about 20 miles down the road from me, and I have yet to go to the museum.
20 miles?! Heck that is only 30 minutes or so by horse!
If only I had learned to ride….I know how to shoot em up. I made a $10 spectacle of myself at the “duel” game at Wall Drug in South Dakota..now I just need myself a good horse, a bedroll, some jerky and tar coffee, and I’m set!
