I ventured “off the grid” again last week. By “off the grid” I basically mean that I no longer had a high-speed Internet connection.
I am hooked on high-speed Internet. I want everything now and I realized that you can never go back.
Last week I was on Dial-up Internet. For those readers that don’t know what I am talking about, it is pretty much the equivalent of putting cups on two ends of a string and having someone yell information on one end – you will get the gist of it…but it is really going to take awhile.

He was right, although I don’t think he ever tried to upload a photo for a blog from a remote area in North Carolina.
Fine, I suppose this is where you look for some witty insights to my mind. A "bio" of sorts. Here is the deal... I ride motorcycles, smoke cigars, golf, kayak, fly, race my car through the mountains, write (a lot), and travel extensively.
