Reading the Classics with Modern Twist…

I have taken up re-reading the classics lately. The odd part is I am reading them on a Sony Reader.

They have come a long way and I love the fact I can carry several books at a time without any of the bulk.

Anyway, one of the many features include the ability to bookmark a section. Since I am currently reading The Three Musketeers here is one I bookmarked last night…

“A rogue does not laugh in the same way that an honest man does; a hypocrite does not shed the tears of a man of good faith. All falsehood is a mask; and however well made the mask may be, with a little attention we may always succeed in distinguishing it from the true face.”

I have a Kindle and love it. Not sure I am ready to go back and read any of the classics though. Maybe you could just share a quote once in awhile.

Love the quote. Should have started with War and Peace though. I think The Three Musketeers has sequels.

Give me an old fashioned hardback or paperback any day. I never have to hit the reset button.

Yea, I guess having 120 books in the palm of your hand doesn’t do you much good when you are out of power…
