The furthest in WI I ever got was to the Lacrosse area when I was performing duties at Ft. McCoy, but I digress.. Any funky promotional sandwich by fastfood joints is the food equivalent of blasphemy. Hardees tries the philly cheesteak burger....as the Midwest's Official Philly Tester, I was appalled by this nasty invention. Then there was some kind of rib burger or primerib burger....I almost got sick....the thought of fast food joints actually serving a good brat, is like holding oktoberfest in march...it just aint right and it just aint happening! Didn't leave the state for many years - mostly because I didn't know we were allowed to! I actually had McBrats. Not great (I think it is because they did not soak them in beer first).
