Still Sporting that Grad Tassel?

Seriously, if you are over 28-years-old, your High School class ring and graduation tassel go in a box with family photos and your 1st grade turkey-made-from-your-hand-drawing.

YouTube Turns Five. Now What?

YouTube has turned 5-years-old. That has got to be like 250,000 in Internet Years. Oh well, Happy Birthday YouTube – Maybe someday they will have a device where you can watch this stuff from the comfort of the family room…oh wait.

Monday Quote #14

Saying Monday is “just like the other days” is the same as saying a “Knight in Shining Armor” is the same as an “Idiot in Tinfoil.”

Stock Market “Glitch” Found in North Carolina Mountains?

Oooops, sorry about that – you know yesterdays whole “why did the market drop 550 points so fast due to a technical problem?”

I have to say I would never intentionally jeopardize the stability of the stock market.

Sure, I make more trades than the average bear (no pun intended) but who knew that it would be a casual trip to the kitchen that would lead things to running a muck?

You see, I was simply surfing the web doing research on a camcorder when I decided to grab a diet Pepsi from the kitchen.

Walking down the hall I flipped on the light switch that, until now, had no clue what it did. The market took a nosedive.

No erroneous trades by Citigroup, no computer stop malfunction, nothing to do with Greece.

Fortunately upon returning to my computer and hearing the news, I made the connection. I immediately went back and flipped the switch again, preventing what could have been a colossal meltdown.

Sorry about that…there is now tape on the switch so no one flips it.
