“Debt Cures” May Just Cut Your Wallet In Half…

May 14, 2008 by Godfather

Well, it is nice to see that some things never change.

Kevin Trudeau (from the Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About), now has Debt Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About

I happened to have the TV on during a morning workout and could not believe some of the things he was saying. Am I really supposed to believe that that he is receiving “death threats” from banks because he is revealing how to pay off your bills? Do some people actually fall for it? Why on earth is the 2007 Playboy Playmate-of-the-Year doing some of the interview? (is she a financial expert as well?)

Look, most of this stuff is available in your library, and you won’t pay over $40 to get it — not to mention the clever add-ons.

Full disclosure: Yes, I wrote a book; yes, it is financial. Go to the library; there it will be free.  It is called Winning the Cash Flow War (Wiley). I wrote it to help others, and it is doing just that.

People really do need financial information but not at the expense of taking advantage of them. It should come from people that are in the know— not people that just sell something to make a buck and just recycle information they read somewhere else.

I am almost sure Kevin’s next book will be Diet Cures “McDonalds” Doesn’t Want You to Know About. I understand weight loss is a big market.

Good call. Lots of free stuff out there but most people are just too lazy to go and read it. It is easy to b*tch about your problems, it is another thing to work hard to try and fix it.

Great Site – Adding it to my Blogroll.

A lot of Kevin’s stuff is not really possible. I mean it is, but only for very few people. It is not the book that gets you, it all the other stuff they try and sell you.

I did read Winning the Cash Flow War last year. That is how I found this blog. Solid book. I knew a lot of the items in it, but a lot I didn’t or certainly wish I knew sooner.

Yea, there may be a few “up sell” opportunities for you when you call in…:)

He actually already wrote the book Debt Cures They Don’t Want You To Know About.

    {Godfather – Did you mean that he already wrote “Diet” Cures?}

I try hard not to be a smart aleck, but it comes so naturally, BUT…I think he took care of explaining that.

Well, turns out Kevin already tried to do the book “Diet Cures” (I guess I am behind the times). It was taken off the air due to inaccurate comments (?).

Probably more money in debt anyway…

    Hi,

I greatly enjoyed looking through your blog “theslowbleed.com” and found an informative one for finance related topics. [...Remainder deleted by GodFather]

Kevin is a total con artist. Although the book does contain some helpful points, it is very repetitive and you can learn even more by reading some good blogs (like this one) on the internet. If you read the reviews of the book at http://kevinscures.com you’ll see just how many people are unhappy with Trudeau and his book.
